ROMANCE IS NOT JUST FOR NEWLYWEDS!!

THE SUMMER MONTHS REMIND ME OF
THE LONG, HOT NIGHTS (AND FOR SOME DAYS) OF ROLLING AROUND IN BED WITH YOUR
love for hours, or maybe it was a spontaneous getaway for the weekend with nothing but the two of you and a bottle of champagne. Or maybe it was the initial electric current that stirred throughout your entire body the first time you locked eyes. The explosion of chemistry and attraction that occurred the first time he placed his hand on yours. The sudden bliss that you seemed to have all around you when you were thinking of him. The silly grin we seemed to have constantly on our face that only gave away our new found romance.
ROMANCE.
Those days that were filled with the possibilities of a new found love, or the "HoneyMoon" stage. The stage after you first get married or move in together.(Lets face it,more women are doing the co-habitation thing with their mates instead of the Traditionally marrying them)
Are those days of physical attraction still going strong? Or have they seemed to go down the drain with the water from washing the dinner dishes?
For most people, the reality is saddly answer number 2.
We have slipped into the real world and of obligations, and responsibilty. Not to mention the added pressures of everyday life, like work, family, bills, mortgages, kids, car payments. It can seem overwhelming if you're not equipped for it. And lets face it, who is?
Not one couple I know has ever said that it is easy. Hard work is what the happy couples all answered. It takes work from both partners to have and maintain a long, loving, happy relationship, where the passion, desire and attraction are still evident in the relationship.
Honestly, how many of us women take every chance we get to keep ourselves looking good. The stay at home moms are probably going to start shouting at me, but I am a stay at home mom too, so I do know what it's like and it's only with a lot of   practice and trial and error that I have come to this conclusion. The effort has to start as early as the first day! The way you were when you met your love, is the way we need to stay. Not only for our man, but for ourselves. You will be amazed at the way it can make you feel about yourself. How great the rewards are for doing something as simple as getting dressed and doing your hair and make up every day. Your self esteem will shoot through the roof. Not to mention, the fact that your spouse will be happy.
I know that being a momma with small children running rampant around the house does not make it easy for us to do this everyday, and unless you are in the habbit of doing this, it seems like such a choir and pretty much useless, but with a little effort, it will makae such a difference. At least for me it worked. It took me about 2 months of doing this day after day, did it finally become my routine. To have it become a part of my daily scheduale, where I don't even think about it anymore. The results of how it affected my man were way sooner. Almost instantly did I see the difference in not only the way he was with me, but the effect it had on him physically. It actually made him want to start looking better,(As if the man could get any better looking?!? My man is FINE!!) But he started to work out daily again! He started to take the extra few minutes he had and lift some weights. Weights that he had bought about 2 months prior, that he had not used since he purchased them!!
He felt the effects of what I was doing, and it was all positive.
The changes I made also made him change in the bedroom too. Now he was putting more effort into things there too!
I know what you may be thinking, it is going to take alot more then a little make up and hair spray to start the fire between these sheets. Well I have some GREAT NEWS for all of you skeptics out there!
