So we found our little girl about 6 or 7 months ago, she was wondering around in the street, scared, dirty and thin.
Normally we would have just kept driving, we were not in the position financially, to care for a dog. Not to mention we didn't like small dogs. We had lost a pit bull a year earlier and that was what we liked.
Something about that dog made our hearts melt.
We took her home, cleaned her, fed her and loved her.
She is like the daughter we never had.
It pays to follow your heart and save an animal you would not have normally saved.
